Former Desert Vista basketball player Simone Westbrook is changing schools - again.

No, she is still at Chandler, where she transferred to mid-season last year after deciding not to play at Desert Vista any longer.

Westbrook, who averaged 16.5 points as a sophomore guard for the Thunder in the 2009-10 season, changed her college commitment from Arizona State to Arizona, according to The Arizona Republic.

After sitting out the first half of the season last year, Westbrook transferred to Chandler and became eligible 10 days later with her first game coming against the Thunder.

In the six games listed on MaxPreps, Westbrook averaged 11.5 points and 4.3 assists on a team that finished as Class 5A Division I state runners-up.
