Todd Graham is a football coach from Texas.

Anyone who has coached at any level in the Lone Star has probably at one point or another dreamt about coaching the Longhorns.

It’s just in the blood.

Graham has done a great job of turning around the Arizona State program and his former athletic director is now calling the shots for Texas.

Clearly it is not hard to connect the dots. At least it was before the Sun Devils’ debacle in the Holiday Bowl where Arizona State was thumped 37-22 by Texas Tech.

It will be hard sell for Patterson and his search firm to come up with the name of Todd Graham, who hasn’t given any indication he is interested, after he was clearly outcoached and had his team less prepared by another hot candidate from a different corner of the state.

It’s not to say Kliff Klingsbury is the frontrunner for the Texas job; just saying it would be hard to come up with Graham’s name to the Longhorn fans after being throttled the Red Raiders.
