Jordan Leal's return this season from a knee injury is still up in the air.

Mountain Pointe coach Norris Vaughan said the MRI for his top linebacker was moved to Thursday and it will determine whether or not the Pride gets their inside linebacker bac or not.

Leal, who was injured in the first half of the game against Desert Vista, won't play Friday against Sierra Vista Buena, but they have hope he will make it back before the end of the season.

Leal is off the crutches and they believe it is a meniscus injury in his right knee. If he doesn't need arthroscopic surgery, the hope is the 5-foot-11, 200-pounder will be back anchoring the middle of the defense.

Worst case scenario has Leal missing the rest of the year after surgery and hoping he has shown enough to get an opportunity in college. Yale has shown the most interest but he doesn't have any official offers.
