The Arizona Interscholastic Association reviewed its bylaws and came to a new conclusion on weather suspended games.
It turns out the game between Mountain Pointe and Desert Vista will no longer fall under the forfeit classification with no stats counting.
Instead it now falls under the bylaw 4. Section D under Weather Related Scenario that states, "The teams agree to terminate the contest at the point of interruption, keep the score, and the statistics up to the point of interruption shall count. "
It means the game on Sept. 9 will now got back into the record books as a shortened 24-0 Thunder win over the Pride.
So if you are scoring at home be sure to make the appropriate changes.
