In a recent post updating stats of local players in college I asked for info on some more players and I got a few responses.

Here is how others are performing:

Desert Vista graduate Jaycob Brugman started all 53 games for BYU on led the team in most offensive categories.

Brugman hit .317 with 39 runs, 16 doubles, five triples, 11 home runs and 52 RBIs.

The 6-foot, 190-pound junior outfielder had a .412 on-base percentage and a .609 slugging percentage.

Desert Vista product Matt Wehrli started 22 of North Dakota's games 48 games in his first year in the program after transferring from Yavapai College and Chandler-Gilbert.

He hit .224 in 76 at-bats with two doubles and two home runs and 14 RBIs. His on-base was .308 and his slugging was .329.

Please send along some more names of area players making good.
