This cute Crayola was identified only as J.D. James, the winner of the "2nd Annual Scoopers' Halloween Costume Contest."

Sidenote: A pet peeve of our editor - an event can only be called annual after it's third year, but that's beside the point.

J.D. James won a piñata filled with goodies, according to the note attached to his picture.

Scoopers was a shop that offered "Homemade ice cream, frozen yogurt and other gourmet goodies." It was located at 48th St. and Elliot Rd.

Know this little red crayon? If you do, let us know...maybe we can even convince him to dress up in the same costume this year.
