For my husband Matthew and me, it’s important that our children are raised in a community with representatives who will understand them, protect them and work to ensure that opportunities exist for them the way that they existed for us. Our children’s future is not a Republican or Democratic issue, rather an act of conscience and responsibility. And although I have been a long-standing Republican, I support one of the most recognizable Democrats in Arizona for the U.S. Congress.

My family wants to elect Kyrsten Sinema, because we believe she will help make Congress a place that works for the betterment of families instead of the betterment of politicians and special interest groups. I know from experience, that she will be the person to do this.

The story of why I support Kyrsten is personal: In 2005, moms from across the state formed a group which would ignite a public debate that caught national attention. The issue of mothers who breastfed in public arrived front and center in East Valley cities, after I was confronted by a public employee at a city pool while trying to nurse my child.

At this time, women who breastfed in public were potentially “committing a crime” under indecent exposure laws. No laws existed to protect breastfeeding mothers and their children.

We decided that legislators should not interfere with our core right to care for our children. It was unacceptable. We partnered with Kyrsten in her first term at the Legislature. She did for us what established lawmakers determined was “a hard sell” for a divided Legislature. She helped introduce and pass legislation that protects a mother’s right to nurse wherever we happen to be.

Her decision to help moms was easy, because it was the right thing to do. She was able to help pass it, because she has the unique ability of achieving consensus that results in actual solutions.

Kyrsten has the necessary skill sets and abilities to represent us in Congress. More than that, she is the one candidate with a record of working with both parties and her constituents to accomplish sensible policies that help families. As a member of the minority party in the state Legislature, she served her community by passing a remarkable number of bills that benefited tens of thousands of lives. While her opponents tell us how they plan to be successful in a divided Legislature, Kyrsten Sinema has already done it. The partisan bickering has made our Congress the most ineffective legislative body in our nation’s history. The ideological fights have to stop, so that the hard work of rebuilding our country can continue. Kyrsten is the right person to get our country on the right track. She is the right choice for Congress.

What possible track do you mean? One where public buildings are blown apart for political ideology? One where thousands of persons are put at risk of life & limb because of a religious antipathy? Ms. Sinema has an undenied connection to a felon named Ms. Lynne Stewart, involved with the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The connection is stated right here: Sinema promoted speeches by Lynne Stewart, the “lawyer for terrorists” who was convicted of helping Sheikh Rahman attempt to kill Americans and Jews outside America.

Ms. Lynne Stewart is guilty of "conspiring to defraud the United States in violation
of 18 U.S.C. § 371 by violating SAMs imposed upon Abdel Rahman to which she had agreed to be bound; providing and concealing material support to a conspiracy to kill and kidnap persons in a foreign country, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2339A and 18 U.S.C. § 2; conspiracy to provide and conceal such support, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 371; and making false statements in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1001."

You may want every Jew killed as a means to improve the status of the country, but you cannot want to have terrorists supported in general & most likely would not want as your representative in Congress someone who is connected with a felon involved with the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. That murderous adventure killed six people. To hear about these persons, please review:

Ask yourself if it is worth killing these six people simply to glut one's desire to destroy public buildings. Then decide if you want to support Kyrsten Sinema.
