You know the education system is broken when...

Your child is being taught that global warming is man-made.

Your child is being taught the Panama Canal was an imperialist project of the United States.

Your child is being taught the Industrial Revolution was about the radical overthrow of governments.

Your child is taught the Reagan administration was a failure because of the deficits.

Your child is taught the earth was created from dust, ice and water. A recently adopted geology textbook used by the Tempe Union High School District makes the statement the earth was created from dust, ice and water. Just that — a flat one sentence statement.

Your child knows very little about the Declaration of Independence.

Your child knows little or nothing about the Constitution.

Your child cannot recite the Preamble to the Constitution and doesn’t understand the meaning.

Your child doesn’t know the first five presidents of the United States. Or all 44 of them, for that matter.

Your child cannot recite the Gettysburg Address and doesn’t understand the meaning.

Your child is unable to perform cursive writing because it’s no longer taught.

Teachers refuse to give their vision for the future of America in three words or less. Does “freedom and liberty” work for you? Or, how about liberty? That’s a good one.

Teachers refuse to answer questions about the creation of the earth.

Teachers refuse to answer questions about whether or not global warming is man-made.

Your child is taught the unequal distribution of income is not fair.

By now, you should be getting the picture that all is not well in Mudville today.

If you’re under 55 years of age, you, too, probably are the victim of the mulitcultural politically correct propaganda which has been spoon-fed to our citizens for the past 55 years.

As long as the education system is used for subliminal indoctrination, it’s going to be difficult for the good guys to win. They’re the ones who believe in a small government which balances the budget and provides a strong national defense to protect our liberty, you know.

I have a dollar that says this guy hasn't stepped into a classroom for 50 years.

I'm so tired of people just saying things, and not having any actual evidence to back them up, but presenting them as facts.

The line about cursive writing not being taught anymore tells you everything you need to know about this writer.

    Welcome to 2012, sir.
