Brian Johnson/AFN Desert Vista's track program, reclassified into Division I, should field a strong team this year because of the senior leadership of Mike Ingrassia (300 hurdles, high jumps and relays), Edmond Baker (high jump), Ryan Maack (distance) and Ryan Dysktra (distance), all of whom have placed at state before. Also expected to do well for the Thunder are Spencer Schumacher (throws), Riley Pendergast (throws), Eric Hernandez (hurdler) and Nolan Powers (sprints), Matt Smith (sprints) and Jared Hilgers (long jump and sprints).
