More than 100 volunteers from Kohl’s Department Stores will host a “Day of Play” for patients at Phoenix Children’s Hospital on Thursday.

The program, which is an interactive event, will last from 9:30 a.m. to noon and again from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m..

The day will include craft activities, Kohl’s for Kids book for reading and a stuffed animal adoption wellness check station where patients can perform check-ups on their new furry friends at the hospital, 1919 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix.

Last year, Kohl’s volunteers raised about $60,000 to help support Phoenix Children’s, according to the hospital.
