Downtown Tempe Community adds new president

Kate Borders was recently named the president and executive director of the Downtown Tempe Community after her appointment by the Mill Avenue District Board of Directors. In her new position, she will be involved in advancing the downtown Tempe area through projects and marketing.

Borders previously worked for the Downtown Fresno Partnership, where she helped increase landscaping initiatives, expand business programs and develop a group of walking concierge. She also previously worked as the executive director of East Town Association in Milwaukee, W
