Without dissent the Senate on Monday voted to make it a crime to post certain images of others on the Internet without their consent.

HB 2515 is aimed at “revenge porn” where one person has images of a former partner or spouse who is naked or engaged in a sex act and decides to publish it. The measure would make it a felony to post any such photos, videos, film or digital recordings unless the person pictured has first given written consent.

The measure now goes back to the House to consider minor changes made by the Senate.
