Salt River Project will give guided tours at Home Depot stores in Mesa and Chandler to help consumers learn how to save money on their energy bills. Tours last 45 minutes and include information about lighting, shade screens, programmable thermostats, air filters, weather stripping and more.

The first will take place 9 to 11 a.m. March 26 at 425 S. Val Vista Drive in Mesa and 9 to 11 a.m. April 23 at the following locations: 425 S. Val Vista Drive, Mesa; 853 N. Dobson Road, Mesa; and 1155 W. Chandler Blvd., Chandler.

Tours are limited to 20 SRP customers and advance registration is recommended at savewithsrp.com. Following the tour, customers can fill out a survey to enter a drawing for a new energy-efficient air-conditioning unit donated by Trane to be installed by Orangutan Home Services.
