The Area Ministerial Association of the Northwest Valley will present a Community Martin Luther King, Jr. Day service Monday in celebration of the man and his message.

The service will be 3 p.m. Monday at the Desert Palms Presbyterian Church, 13459 W. Stardust Blvd. in Sun City West. To make the service as inclusive as possible and to appropriately honor Dr. King’s memory, representatives from several different faiths will conduct the service jointly, organizers said. Music will be provided by Earl and Alexis Hazell, and a free-will offering will benefit Benevilla.

A reception will be in the fellowship hall immediately following the service.

For more information, call the Desert Palms Presbyterian Church at 623-584-4602.
