Glean
The Sun City Grand Gleaners, led by Harvey and Melanie Noteboom, is one of the largest and more prolific gleaner volunteer groups for St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance. Last year, the group collected in excess of 160,000 pounds of citrus for the food bank and have already picked more than 20,000 pounds in the first few weeks of this gleaning season.
