Glendale-based Discount Cab will designate 13 of its normally green Toyota Prius cabs with “pink cab” banners this month.
These “pink” cabs will donate one dollar from each fare toward this year’s fundraising goal of $5,200. Proceeds from the sponsored vehicles will benefit the American Cancer Society.
Discount Cab’s “Pink Ride” campaign will run through October to coincide with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
