It can be tricky finding a good restaurant that fulfills all your brunching desires. Hillside Spot is one of those amazing breakfast-all-day restaurants to be thankful for. Open 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. most days, this Ahwatukee restaurant caters to the early birds as well as those of us that are a little later to rise. A personal favorite for Sundays, Hillside Spot is adjacent to a year-round farmer’s market and beautifully shaded park and playground. Seasonal specialties on the menu are created from the freshest ingredients from local farms, making your toughest decision whether to pair the French toast with a Cartel Coffee Lab espresso, or the Croque Madame with a Four Peaks brew.

BLD in Chandler offers farm-fresh eats for every meal of the day. However, because breakfast is served until 2 p.m. every day, brunch is my favorite reason to visit. This dog-friendly favorite offers stylish indoor/outdoor dining as well as shaded patio seating. A full bar of craft cocktails mean Bloody Marys and microbrews to pair with your pick of everything from seasonal pancakes to pork belly sandwiches. I recommend anything with “short rib” on the menu or the brunch standard, the Cali Eggs Benedict.

Ncounter, located on lively Mill Avenue in Tempe, is a favorite among locals and ASU students alike. The shady, dog-friendly patio is a great spot for fresh-squeezed cocktails or a caramel macchiato and meeting up with friends. The breakfast menu includes options like savory omelets stuffed with fresh vegetables or, if you prefer things on the sweeter side, Bananas Foster French Toast. You can thank me later.
