Phoenix and Tempe police are asking for the public's help to identify three men who have been robbing fast-food eateries in both cities.

The three men have robbed six fast-food locations since the beginning of the month, including the Subway at Ray Road and 48th Street in Ahwatukee.

"These suspects are operating as a group," said a statement from the Tempe Police Department. "In at least six recent incidents, one or more of the suspects arrives at the business, typically around opening or closing time. The suspect then uses force to direct the victims to the back of the store while pointing a firearm at the victims. The suspect demands cash and flees."

In one robbery on Oct. 17 the men robbed the victims, fired shots in the ceiling, and left in a white van with brownish wood-style panel stripping down the side, Tempe police said.

None of the victims have been seriously injured, but each were threatened with weapons.

"Tempe police are working with Phoenix Police Department and other law enforcement agencies, but we need your help in apprehending these criminals before someone is hurt or killed," Tempe police said.

The first man is described as a black male in his late 20's to mid-30's. He's about 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall, with a heavy or muscular build, and no facial hair. He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap with red crown and gray bill with "UNLV" on the front of the cap, a dark sweatshirt, white basketball shorts with red and black strips down the side, and black shoes.

The second man is a white or Hispanic male in his early 20's, with a thin build, side burns, and tattoos on his neck, left shin, right hand, and behind both ears. He was last seen wearing a red- and black-striped sweatshirt, dark T-shirt, dark shorts, and a blue hat with a Philippines flag on the back.

The final robber is described as a Filipino or Pacific Islander male, around 5 feet 8 inches. He is of an average build, with long hair. He was last seen wearing a red, hooded sweatshirt with a gold design on the front, long denim shorts, a white New York Yankees cap with black pin stripes, and a red backpack.

Anyone with information can call Tempe Police at (480) 350-8311, or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.

Call 911 during a crime in progress, or in an emergency.
