Phoenix center helps homeless during day
Kenneth Jones uses a computer to check his email at the Justa Center on Monday. Homeless for two years, Jones has found employment near the Grand Canyon. He says without the resources the Justa Center provided him, he never would have been able to cope.
Under the Justa Center’s slogan of “No Drama,” Michael McKee greets people as the enter the resource center. The center provides the means to get out of homelessness for adults 55 years and older. From simple things like coffee and showers to more complicated issues such as veteran’s benefits and Social Security paperwork, the center is a free source for helping seniors in need.
