All photographers — from novices to experienced shutterbugs and seasoned pros — are invited to check out Eight, Arizona PBS’s Capture My Arizona, an online community of people who love to take, share and publish their photos via capturemyarizona.com.

Joining this digital photographic community is free. Photographers submit their photos in a range of categories, everyone votes on their favorites and editors highlight the best. Every day, Capture My Arizona members weigh in on their top choices, and those photos with the most votes, comments and “loves” are recognized on the website and Eight’s Facebook page: facebook.com/arizonapbs. Rotating photo challenges ask for entries that illustrate specific topics — such as sunsets, desert flowers and summer heat — by specific deadlines. Top-rated photos and editors’ picks are showcased in online digital publications. Eight will publish the best of the best photographs annually in a coffee-table book and calendar available to the public.
