Fresh Start Women’s Foundation hosts career fair

The Fresh Start Women's Foundation is hosting a career fair on Nov. 8. The event will take place at the Jewell McFarland Lewis Women's Resource Center located on 1130 E. McDowell Rd. in Phoenix from noon to 4 p.m.

Women do not need to pre-register and there is no cost to attend the event. The event will feature more than 20 companies hiring for a variety of positions, several community agencies who provide career resources and job search assistance, professional coaches providing quick resume reviews, professional wardrobe services (first come, first served, walk-in) and tons of raffles. Companies that are participating in the event include JP Morgan Chase, The Art Institute of Phoenix, Progressive Insurance, Enterprise Holdings, Vanguard, Adecco, Charles Schwab, Skill Soft, Direct Alliance, U-Haul International, Grand Canyon University, Mary Kay Cosmetics and AlwaysOn Healthcare.
