Arizona Celebration of Freedom: Known for his role as Bo Duke in “The Dukes of Hazzard,” actor, singer and producer John Schneider headlines Mesa’s Independence Day celebration with a benefit concert for veterans Friday at the Mesa Arts Center and emcees and performs at the Salute to America program Saturday. The two-day celebration includes family fun zones, live country and rock music, patriotic and history displays, a classic car show, Motorcylce Mania and a fireworks extravaganza.
