Two vehicles were involved in a collision at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the intersection of 48th Street and Chandler Boulevard.
Phoenix police officer Kevin Ham said there was one occupant in each vehicle and they were both taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
A white Chevrolet Suburban was traveling westbound on Chandler Boulevard when it collided with a silver Ford Focus that was turning northbound from Chandler Boulevard onto 48th Street. The collision flipped the Suburban over and caved in the passenger's side of the Focus.
Ham it was still under investigation to determine who was at fault.
Southbound traffic on 48th Street was closed for more than 30 minutes as the crew worked to remove the vehicles.
