Tee up in SCG for Wounded Warriors

The Sun City Grand Armed Forces Support Group and Long Realty West Valley will sponsor the third annual Wounded Warriors Project fund-raiser March 12 at Sun City Grand’s Granite Falls South, 15949 W. Clearview Ave., and Desert Springs Golf Clubs, 19900 N. Remington Drive in Surprise.

This year’s event includes a dinner honoring Wounded Warriors and veterans. A raffle will be two weeks prior to the March 12 golf outing, and there will be a silent auction at the post-outing dinner. Raffle tickets are $20 each, $50 for three and $100 for six tickets. Tickets can be purchased at Long Realty locations beginning Tuesday. Raffle tickets will be sold during all shotgun starts in Sun City Grand March 7-12.

Registration for the golf outing, dinner and silent auction for Sun City Grand residents is their golf plan, plus $50. Non-resident registration and golf fee is $110. Registration will be accepted via mail on a first-come. first-served basis and can be done by check only, made out to the SCG Armed Forces Support Group. Registration forms can be found at www.scgarmedforcessupportgroup.org.

Registration should be sent to: SCG Armed Forces Support Group, 19753 N. Remington Drive, Surprise, AZ 85374, or register in person at the Sun City Grand Granite Falls Pro Shop, 15949 W. Clearview Blvd., Surprise. No phone reservations will be accepted, and all registration fees must be paid at time of registration.
