Exhibit celebrates life, leadership of Lincoln

America’s sixteenth president is currently visiting the East Valley. Chandler Hamilton Library is featuring “Abraham Lincoln: A Man of His Time, A Man for All Times,” an exhibit on display through May 3 that celebrates the life and leadership of Lincoln. The exhibit was created by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History.

The library also will be showing Steven Spielberg’s Oscar-nominated film “Lincoln” for free at 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 29, and 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1. To register for a film date, call (480) 782-2800 or visit the Events Calendar page at www.ChandlerLibrary.org.

The Lincoln exhibit will be open for viewing 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays. The museum is located at 3700 S. Arizona Ave. in Chandler.
