Glendale police are looking for a suspect involved in a burglary that occurred Sept. 11 at a bakery in the 4500 block of West Glendale Avenue.

At 10:45 p.m., officers responded to the bakery and found that the suspect had forced entry by breaking a window and entered through an interior door, police said.

The suspect took approximately $800 from the business, police said. Police have obtained surveillance video of the suspect entering the business as well as footage of the suspect vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, short to average height, with a thin, athletic build. The vehicle in the video appears to be a 1995 to 2000 red or maroon Buick four-door sedan.

Glendale Police Department detectives are seeking the community’s help identifying the suspect.

The police department encourages anyone with information on this suspect or burglary to call the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000 or silent witness at 480-WITNESS.
