Catch free classical concert in Chandler

Decompress before heading back into the work week with a Sunday afternoon concert sure to soothe harried nerves and spare your pocketbook.

Chandler Symphony Orchestra will give a free performance 3 p.m. May 4 at Chandler Center for the Arts. It’s titled Rachmaninoff in Black & White, and seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

The orchestra, headed by conductor Jack Herriman, is committed to reaching the community with quality orchestral music, regardless of a patron’s ability to purchase tickets. For information, call (480) 782-2683 or go to ChandlerCenter.org.
