The Sun City 50th Anniversary Committee will present the West Valley Symphony in concert at 3 p.m. Dec. 19 in Sundial Auditorium, 14801 N. 103rd Ave.

Maestro Cal Stewart Kellogg will lead the orchestra in a program titled “Celebrations,” which features many favorite holiday songs, including Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite No. 1” and festive sounds of Hanukkah.

In addition, Kellogg will lead the orchestra and audience in a sing-a-long to capture the festive spirit.

Originally called the Sun City Symphony and founded in 1968 by Sun City residents and musicians, the symphony has been performing before area audiences since those early days of Sun City.

All seating is general admission.

Tickets cost $25 for adults and $15 for youth.

For information, call 623-236-6781 or visit westvalleysymphony.org.
