Halloween night will be rockin’ at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre Oct. 31 when That Kool Band takes the stage with their “Spooktacular tribute to the 1950s and ’60s.”
The show will be peppered with Halloween favorites like “Monster Mash” and “Spooky,” along with the classic oldies like “Hang on Sloopy,” “I Feel Good,” “A Hard Day’s Night,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Cherry Cherry,” “Peggy Sue,” “Surfing USA,” “Johnny B Goode” and many more.
Broadway Palm is getting into the “spirit” with a costume contest; come in costume and be entered to win tickets to an upcoming show. Audience members will help judge the “Legally Blonde” cast’s pumpkin carving contest. Free appetizers at each table are included as part of the $15 ticket price. Beverages will be available for purchase. The Broadway Palm lobby will decked out with Halloween decorations to add to the festivities, and you just might spot some of the “Legally Blonde” cast members joining in the fun.
That Kool Band has performed throughout the state with their selection of rock music’s greatest hits. Band members are: Eddie Kij (vocals and guitar), Warren Cobb (vocals and lead guitar), George Grund (keyboards, sax, vocals, harmony,) Marvin Forte (bass guitar, vocals, harmony) and Glenn Meharg (percussion, vocals, harmony).

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; concert begins at 7.
The Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre is on the southeast corner of Brown and Higley roads in the Alta Mesa Plaza. The theater is accessible from the Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) or the U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway) via the Higley Road exits. Parking is free.
