The Bashas’-anchored Ridgeview Plaza in east Mesa has been sold after its former owner lost the center through bankruptcy.

Calgary-based MDC Property Services Ltd. bought the plaza for $14.6 million after Scottsdale-based Bryan/Moore Development LLC defaulted on the loan and filed for bankruptcy. The 130,642 square-foot center includes Big 5 Sports, Starbucks, Leslie’s Pool and Chase Bank.

MDC outbid six other potential buyers and paid cash for the property, which is at 2822-2910 N. Power Road.
