Gasoline prices in Arizona are up slightly this week.

Officials with AAA Arizona said Wednesday that the average price around the state for unleaded regular gasoline is $3.34 a gallon at the pumps. That’s up by slightly more than a penny from last week.

This week’s national average is $3.43 per gallon, down by almost one cent from last week.

Analysts say prices are lower because demand was fallen over the past month.

Tucson has the lowest average gasoline price in Arizona at $3.22 a gallon while Flagstaff has the highest price at $3.54.

Missouri has the lowest average gas prices in the continental U.S. at $3.18 a gallon with California having the highest at $3.84 a gallon.
