Ahwatukee boy becomes Eagle Scout

Daniel Moore celebrated his Eagle Scout Court of Honor at Corpus Christi Church last month. Moore is a member of Troop 278 of Ahwatukee with Scoutmaster Tim Christianson.

Moore was awarded Eagle Scout rank in September of last year after completing his service project of graffiti cleanup and repainting of the 35th Avenue bridge over the Salt River.

Between 25 and 30 volunteers spent a total of 240 hours working on his project.
