Families, tots and teens can enjoy a variety of cool, pool-time events across Phoenix this summer as Cigna Healthcare of Arizona, Cigna Medical Group Care Today and the Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department partner for the 20th year to make summers fun and safe for children.
Cigna Summer includes free aquatic safety events for five different age groups.
They are the Itty Bitty beach party for ages 6 or younger and their parents; Cub Club, ages 7 to 10; Discovery Guards, ages 10 to 13; junior lifeguard training, ages 13 to 15; and lifeguard academy, ages 15 and older and have participated in a previous Cigna Summer program.
