The 4th Annual Indian Art market will feature Native American entertainers, food, jewelry and craft vendors Oct. 12-14 on the grounds of A. J. Chandler Park in downtown Chandler.

Vendors submitting their applications by Aug. 3 will receive a reduced booth rental fee and have their artwork showcased on the city’s website. The city also is seeking local bands and Native American dance groups to perform one or more days, as well as sponsors for the event. Vendors, performers and sponsors should call Niki Tapia (480) 782-2214 or e-mail her at niki.tapia@chandleraz.gov for more information. Five levels of sponsorships are available, ranging from $100 to $5,000.

The event is being held in conjunction with Native American Recognition Days and the Miss Indian Arizona Scholarship Program, which will be 6:30 p.m., Oct. 13 at the Chandler Center for the Arts, 250 N. Arizona Ave.
