Visit Mesa and Longbow Golf Club will host a junior golf clinic for 200 Mesa grade-school students on Feb. 18.

The clinic will feature a B-25 flyover to kick off the LPGA/ Symetra Tour’s Visit Mesa Gateway Classic and a 120-player professional golf tournament scheduled for Feb. 21-23.

The Commemorative Air Force will fly over Longbow in a B-25 that morning at 11 a.m. and will drop several large bags full of golf gear including Volvik golf balls, First Tee T-shirts, golf visors from Antigua and more.

Mesa City Councilman, David Luna, will welcome students from Mesa’s Roosevelt and Keller Elementary Schools.

Six LPGA/Symetra Tour players will conduct the clinic, where students can improve their golf skills and learn what it takes to excel on the golf course and in the classroom.

Longbow Golf Club is located at 5601 E. Longbow Parkway and they can be reached at (480) 807-5400 or www.longbowgolf.com.
