Texas Rangers manager Ron Washington was inducted into the Surprise Stadium Hall of Fame for capturing the American League championship in 2010.
Other 2011 Hall of Fame inductees were: Josh Hamilton, 2010 American League Most Valuable Player; Neftali Feliz, 2010 American League Rookie of the Year; 2010 Texas Rangers AL championship team and Zack Greinke, 2009 American League Cy Young Award winner.
The formal induction ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, as part of a pre-game celebration between the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers at 1:05 p.m. The inductees will join the current Surprise Recreation Campus Hall of Famers, Tom Hicks and David Glass.
