The wife of a Maricopa County supervisor has pleaded guilty in a sexual misconduct case involving a teenage boy.
Prosecutors say Susan Brock, 49, pleaded guilty Monday afternoon to three counts of attempted sexual conduct with a minor. She's scheduled to be sentenced March 16.
Brock was arrested last October by Chandler police after she allegedly had a sexual relationship with a teenage boy whose identity hasn't been disclosed.
Police were called by the 17-year-old boy's parents after they learned of steamy text messages reportedly exchanged between their son and the 48-year-old Brock.
Officers interviewed the boy, who reported he had been meeting Brock for sexual trysts since he was 14.
According to the Pinal County Attorney's office, a plea agreement was struck after Brock, her attorney, and prosecutors met for more than four hours in Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix.
Brock was given a deadline of Feb. 7 to meet the terms of the plea agreement or go to trial, according to the court website for Maricopa County Superior Court.
Supervisor Fulton Brock announced last November that he was filing paperwork to end his 28-year marriage to Susan Brock.
