4. NYE Tasting menu at Casablanca Lounge

Treat yourself this New Year’s Eve to a swanky evening of delicious food and jazzy music. Casablanca Lounge is featuring a tasting menu that will blow your taste buds away. Winter greens salad with charred strawberries, candied walnuts and wild honey vinaigrette can be paired with Schreiner’s bacon wrapped bison au poivre grilled white asparagus, cognac cream sauce and white cheddar creamed corn. And that’s just a small taste of what will be available. Live jazz and blues will be on from 5-9 p.m. From 9 p.m. to close a DJ will riff on some old school hip hop, R&B, and dance tunes.

If you plan on being downtown to ring in the new year, make Ticoz your dining spot. For only $25 per person, you can enjoy a three-course meal with such delectables as “guacammus” — a guacamole garlic hummus dish, sherry chipotle grilled chicken or paella, and your choice of churros or a brownie for dessert. 6. Champagne dinner and dancing at ZuZu

Go retro with a delicious champagne dinner at ZuZu inside the Hotel Valley Ho. The four-course dinner comes with Maine lobster agnolotti, burrata and brussels sprout salad, herb-roasted Wagyu beef striploin, and valrhona chocolate cheesecake (vegetarian and sea bass substitutions available) will be served. Taggia at FireSky Resort is hosting a delicious New Year’s Eve meal that includes appetizers of brodo — roasted poultry consume with carrots, celery, onions, rosemary, polpetinne, and Parmesan; mozzarella with marinated figs, endives, white balsamic glaze and toasted garlic crumbs, and more. For the main course diners have their choice of carne smoked beef tenderloin, risotto with shrimp, scallops and calamari, or grilled tuna. The dessert course includes classic chocolate opera cake, torta di limone or gelato.
