Students at Chandler High School’s IB program recently formed a benefit band and put on a Mission Africa benefit concert. The event raised $800 to buy books and supplies for children at an elementary school in Africa. The idea was born of a meeting between students and the North American Director of the Mission Africa. The students in the band are: Michael Guilliam, Kyle Heitmann, Joey Casey, Matthew Mozdzen, and Sarah Sydiongco.
