It's time for the official showdown - doctors versus lawyers. Who will be victorious? Dance into the night to the music of the lawyers (Toadhouse) and the doctors (Champagne Tap) at the Fourth Annual Battle of the Bands concert with emcee Chris Parker from 98.7 the Peak. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at The Compound Grill, 7000 E. Mayo Blvd., Building 21. The opening band will play from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by band sets from 7 to 11 p.m.
Greg White, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at the Center for Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at Phoenix Children's Hospital, a governing board member of Ear Candy Charity and somehow finds time to rock out with his band Champagne Tap in his free time.
General admission tickets are $30, which includes one vote for your favorite band. Additional votes are available for purchase the night of the event. The band with the most votes wins. Proceeds from Battle of the Bands will be split between Phoenix Children's Hospital and Ear Candy Charity.
