Members of the Phoenix area community now can join the ASU Gospel Choir to learn and perform diverse selection from the African-American gospel tradition. The ASU Gospel Choir is open to singers of all faith backgrounds, levels of experience, and ability, and no audition is required. Jennifer Robinson, School of Music faculty associate, directs the ensemble and believes that gospel is one of the most fertile, important, and exciting American music traditions. The choir meets on Tuesdays through May 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. at ASU Gammage room 301, 1200 S. Forest Ave., on the ASU Tempe campus. Registration deadline is March 1. Cost is $40 per semester per registrant. To register, call (480) 965-6447 or visit www.regonline.com. Following registration, contact Jennifer Robinson at (623) 707-7850 or Jennifer.n.robinson@asu.edu.
