Chandler PD searching for suspects in Subway robbery

The Chandler Police Department is searching for two suspects who allegedly robbed a Subway on Aug. 11.

Information released by the department indicates the suspects entered a Subway located at 1020 E. Pecos Road at approximately 1 p.m. One of the men held a handgun during the incident while the other collected cash from the teller.

The first suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 18 and 21. He is listed at between five-foot-six and five-foot-eight with a medium to thin build. He wore a black and red hoodie, black shorts, a black and purple baseball cap with a yellow brim, black skater shoes with low white socks and black, low-cut gloves.

The second suspect, who displayed the gun, is also described as a white man between 18 and 21 years of age. He is listed at between five-foot-nine and six-feet with a medium bulkier build. He wore a white sleeveless shirt, black basketball shorts with a blue trim, black skater shoes, medium brown hair and had a tan scarf or rag over his face.

The department advices people to avoid confrontation with the suspects and to call police at (480) 782-4130 or contact the Silent Witness Hotline at (480) 948-6377. Silent Witness Hotline is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
