dressing as a costumed character

Phoenix Art Museum's summer exhibition on video games is entertaining anytime, but on PhxArt Kids Days, young viewers and their families can get more mileage out of the experience. This weekend's event includes live cosplay models, so kids can sketch from real poses and costumes, as well as their imaginations, as they practice creating characters for their own video game ideas.

DETAILS >> 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24. Phoenix Art Museum, 1625 N. Central Ave. $15 adults, $10 students, $6 ages 6-17, free for kids 5 and younger. (602) 257-1222 or www.phxart.org/.
