Chandler resident named GM of fitness center

Chandler resident Gus LaZear was named vice president and general manager of the Virginia G. Piper Sports & Fitness Center for Persons with Disabilities (SpoFit), a program run by the Arizona Bridge to Independent Living.

LaZear holds a master’s degree of Business Administration with an emphasis in Health Systems Management from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor in Science from California State University Northridge. He was the lead therapeutic recreational therapist at the Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.
