Surprise travel consultant Phil Kennedy will be departing soon for Africa with a select group of North American travel agencies, to acquaint them more completely with the changing travel scene in Africa. Kennedy says he was privileged to have been asked, along with six other consultants, to share this experience, which will result in better serving www.AussieWORLDTravel.com clients. He said the experience will sharpen his knowledge and passion for Africa as a travel destination.

The Africa team will inspect a variety of products suitable for the North American consumer, such as Johannesburg’s Michelangelo Hotel, Apartheid Museum and Lesedi Cultural Village, where the traditions of the Basotho, Ndebele, Pedi, Xhosa and Zulu people are depicted.

As a true blue Aussie, however, Kennedy can hardly contain his excitement for the two-night wildlife Safari his hosts have incorporated into these experiences. Kennedy has held an Australian National Parks and Wildlife license.

The team will then move on to Cape Town, along the Atlantic Seaboard, where  Kennedy is anticipating great photo opportunities of Table Mountain’s towering Twelve Apostles, and is eager to see how Cape Town’s Apostles compare with his homeland’s iconic Twelve Apostles along southern Australia’s Great Ocean Road. But he says there probably isn’t a whole lot out there in this world that compares with the adventure finale at “Cape of Good Hope” in the Table Mountain National Park where the Team will discover exotic vegetation and birdlife, as well as encounter the native Zebras, Bontebok and charismatic Cape Baboons.

Kennedy is available to talk with school groups and other interested community groups about his signature destinations including Dubai, Egypt and Africa, but particularly Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Tahiti and other South Pacific Island nations. He can be contacted on 623-249-7680.
