The Rotary Club of Litchfield Park will sponsor the fifth annual “Taste of the Park” charity fundraiser event from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in downtown Litchfield Park at Old Litchfield Road and Wigwam Boulevard.
The Taste of the Park event will include food, wine, beer and spirit tastings; a silent auction; raffle ticket and 50/50 drawings; and live music from Thaddeus Rose Band. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample culinary delights as they travel to each station, sampling what each destination has to offer. Participating area restaurants include Old Pueblo Café, Taps, Corner Café, blu Sushi, Litchfield’s of the Wigwam Resort and Tropical Smoothie Café, as well as dishes prepared by Estrella Mountain Community College Culinary students.
Tickets are $50 for adults and $25 for children. They can be purchased on the Rotary Club’s website at www.LitchfieldParkRotary.com or by calling 602-374-4923. All proceeds from this event go directly to local charities supported by the Rotary Club of Litchfield Park including New Life Center, Blue Star Moms, Homeless Youth Connection, and Litchfield Park Elementary arts and literacy efforts.
