Mesa police have arrested a suspect in the homicides of two teenagers.

Jesus Antonio Busso Estopellan, 21, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of first-degree murder.

ASU student Tyler Webster, 18, and Olek Wladyszewski, 19, were shot and killed early Wednesday morning. Officers found Wladyszewski dead in the driver's seat of his Mitsubishi Eclipse in the Parkwood Ranch area near Southern Avenue and Signal Butte Road. Webster was taken to a local hospital and later died from his wounds.

Before police arrived, Webster had called 911 around 1:15 a.m. to say that he and a friend had been shot by a Hispanic male in his 20s.

According to Mesa police, detectives obtained cell phone records which showed that prior to the homicide Wladyszewski had been communicating with Estopellan by text. On Thursday, detectives located Estopellan and he later admitted that he set up a meeting with Wladyszewski and directed him to the incident location in the Parkwood Ranch area. When Wladyszewski and Webster arrived, Estopellan walked up to their vehicle and shot Wladyszewski and then he shot Webster, police said.

Autopsy reports are pending from the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's Office.
