Tickets go on sale Sunday for Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts’ 2011-12 season. The venue’s new lineup features more than 100 dance, jazz, music, theater and comedy performances. Among the highlights:

• Tony and Emmy Award winner Bebe Neuwirth (recognized by many as “Lilith” from the sitcom “Cheers”) in a one-woman cabaret show (Oct. 15).

• Actor Jeffrey Tambor in “Performing Your Life” (March 24, 2012; rescheduled from last season).

• Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Bruce Hornsby in a solo concert (March 10, 2012)

• Garrison Keillor at the Celebrity Theatre (Feb. 2, 2012).

• Actor, dancer and singer Ben Vereen (Nov. 19).

• Tony Award-winners Tyne Daly (Jan. 27, 2012), Patti LuPone (March 3, 2012) and Jane Krakowski of NBC’s “30 Rock” (March 31, 2012).

• Best-selling author and radio personality Sarah Vowell (April 28, 2012).

• Brazilian musician Sérgio Mendes headlines the weekend-long “La Gran Fiesta: A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage and Culture” on Nov. 5.

• Oscar-winning composer Marvin Hamlisch headlines the annual ARTrageous benefit gala (Dec. 3).

• Holiday concerts “Go Tell It on the Mountain: The Blind Boys of Alabama Christmas Show” (Dec. 10) and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy’s “Wild and Swingin’ Holiday Party” (Dec. 21).

• Pilobolus (Oct. 21–22) and Israel’s Batsheva Dance Company (March 22, 2012).

• Jazz vocalist Dianne Reeves (May 5, 2011).

• New this season, students and faculty from Arizona State University’s School of Music perform various dates, August 2011 through April 2012.

Tickets go on sale at noon Sunday. This season, patrons will be able to select their own seats when purchasing tickets online, and discounted premium seating will be available when purchasing four or more events in one order.

SCPA mainstays, such as the 42nd annual Scottsdale Arts Festival, critic Harlan Jacob’s “Talk Cinema” screenings and actress Patti Hannon’s one-woman “Late Night Catechism” shows, will continue.
