Chandler’s SanTan Brewing Company has been canning its core brews — Devil’s Ale, HefeWeizen Wheat, Epicenter Amber Ale and Hop Shock I.P.A. — for some time. Now, it’s introducing its seasonal beers to the inside of a mini-keg.
SanTan’s Rail Slide Imperial Spiced Ale, available in cans Nov. 1, will be the first in the brewery’s new Seasonal Canned Beer Series. Rail Slide boasts a bold 8.1 percent ABV, or alcohol by volume.
Seasonal SanTan brews have previously been available only on tap at participating restaurants, pubs and breweries.
“Our seasonal brews are in high demand, so we’ve decided its high time we made them as available as our core brews,” said Anthony Canecchia, owner and head brewmaster of SanTan Brewing Company, in a statement.
SanTan has partnered with Rexam, a local aluminum can manufacturer, to can its seasonal beers.
