“Feed me, Seymour!”

It’s a line almost anyone who grew up in the ’80s remembers, thanks to the 1986 cult fave “Little Shop of Horrors,” starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin.

The tale of an exotic plant with a ghastly craving, “Little Shop” originated as a hit off-Broadway musical. It’s back on stage this summer at Gilbert’s Hale Centre Theatre.

If you never saw the movie, Hale offers 360-degree seating around its stage, guaranteeing a good view as Seymour, a nerdy, down-and-out floral assistant, struggles to win the heart of the girl he loves and keep the bloodthirsty plant satiated.
